About
I trained at the University of Manchester in England and have over 20 years experience with people for varying backgrounds. I've had the privilege of working in a variety of clinics and hospitals over the years which has given me profound experience in working with patients from ICU, stroke, pediatrics, amputees, cardiac rehab, and orthopedics, to name a few. I am grateful for the experience in both England and Norway to help patients achieve their goals with guided advice and physiotherapy treatments.
My Approach
I believe in a holistic approach, working with other professionals, when needed, to help my patients recover from injuries, seeking to improve a better quality of life, and tailoring treatments to your specific needs. I specialize in manual therapy techniques, joint mobilizations, therapeutic exercises, and education in injury prevention and self-management techniques.
Beyond the Clinic
I enjoy a work-life/family balance and I spend time with family and friends to enhance my own physical and mental well-being, whether that is a hike, dinner with family or friends, outdoor activities, or spending some quality time with my son at his numerous activities.
Education & Training
I graduated from Memorial University with a BSc (Biology), then travelled to England where I received my Honors Degree in Physiotherapy at the University of England. through my travels I moved to Norway and took courses in Norsk to better communicate with my patients during that time. I partake in continuing educational courses to keep on top of the latest research and techniques to understand and treat diverse patient needs.
